Why credentials matter
What “AACD-accredited” actually means.
The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry has roughly 350 accredited members in the United States. Accreditation requires a written exam, a clinical skills exam, and case-by-case peer review of five completed cosmetic cases by board-credentialed dentists. The cases go in front of strangers who can fail them.
This is different from “cosmetic certification” from a weekend course, which most cosmetic-marketed practices use. Both are legal to advertise. Only one requires that someone else looks at your work and says it’s good.
Dr. Whitman is one of the ~350. She trained at the Kois Center in Seattle for restorative + occlusion work — the same place most of the AACD instructor pool teaches from.

Cosmetic is cash-pay. So we tell you the number.
Insurance typically doesn’t cover cosmetic dentistry. The standard industry move is to keep pricing opaque so the consult becomes a sales surface. We’d rather publish entry prices up front. The full quote is written line by line at your consult.
Composite bonding
Smile design starts at

Six anterior teeth, composite-bonding entry. Same-day work. The price scales with case complexity — full quote written before we start.
Clear aligners
Invisalign limited starts at
$3,500.
Limited / single-arch entry. Full-arch and complex cases priced at consult. Includes refinement trays and one set of retainers.
Whitening
Take-home custom trays
$395.
Custom-fit upper + lower trays, professional-grade gel, three-week protocol. Office-side whitening available; we usually recommend take-home as a better long-term result.

Why we don’t publish a gallery.
Cosmetic outcomes look different on different mouths — same technique, different jaw shape, different lip line, different color. A photo of someone else’s smile doesn’t predict yours.
We’ll bring photo binders of cases close to yours to the consult — bonding, veneers, Invisalign, whitening — and walk through what was done, what it cost, and what the visible outcome was. The photo set is curated to your case, not to social-media aesthetics.
