Preventive work is the cheapest dentistry there is — every dollar spent here is roughly six dollars not spent later on restorative. That math is why insurance covers most of it twice a year.
Cleanings + exams
Twice yearly. Same chair, same dentist. We work around school + work schedules — Saturday clinic 8am–1pm if weekdays are impossible.
X-rays every 2 years
Not annually. The radiation dose from annual full-mouth X-rays adds up; current ADA guidance is 2–3 years for most adults. We follow it.
Sealants + fluoride
Sealants on permanent molars from age 6. Fluoride varnish at every cleaning for kids; available for adults at higher caries risk.
Periodontal screening
Six-point probing at every recall. If the numbers move, we tell you the number and the next step — no scaling-and-root-planing surprise upsells.
For the uninsured
Smile Club.
Annual membership for patients without dental insurance. Two cleanings, two exams, and X-rays included. Fifteen percent off everything else. No claims paperwork.
One flat rate per year.
Cancel any time. Membership transfers if you move (we’ll refund the unused months). The 15% discount applies the day you join — including the smile-design quote you booked last week.

How soon can I get a cleaning appointment?
Currently 2–3 weeks out for routine cleanings. Same-day for emergencies (call by 11am for confirmation by 6pm).
What if I don’t have dental insurance?
Smile Club: $375/yr for adults, $245/yr per child age 6+. Covers two cleanings, two exams, and X-rays — plus 15% off other treatments. No claims paperwork.
Are exams covered for kids under 6?
Yes — through most insurance carriers, twice yearly without copay. Smile Club covers them too.
Do you take walk-ins?
For emergency triage, yes. For routine cleanings, please call ahead so we can hold the chair.
